Music in porn, especially when its bad, is a complete distraction. Just like lousy acting, lousy sets and lousy sound, lousy music seems to be the norm in porn.
Here's a wild idea : Take 2 or more people who want to fuck on camera, and let them do it without shitty music and without fake moans and groans. Let your sound be natural! Maybe it demands more creativity but the effect will be much better.
Lots of amateurs use music to hide differences in sound between cuts. This is so easy to fix its not funny. Take a few minutes before the shoot and record only the room sounds, and save the sound file as "background.wav" or whatever you want. You will hear things like air from ventilation, maybe a fridge far in the background etc. This low-volume background sound is perfect to bridge the cuts in your scene. No crappy music necessary.
