a. You are color blind and the only color you see is "plump". Now this is dependent variable and you can't really change it because it will mess up entire equation.

b. You are an idiot or trying to be cute and pick color plump for no apparent reason. This is independent variable because solution to this equation is zero. Thus meaning you could be either one, because when you multiply by zero you still get a zero.
