I always get the pain in the EXACT same place each time, just behind my right eye, and it feels like I'm being stabbed over and over again with an ice pick.
Had them for the last 20+ years, and I would do ANYTHING to get rid of them. I get Botox near the trigger points, i have a pure oxygen tank with full mask to try and stop the attacks, I carry Imitrex injections while I'm having an episode, I've taken different concoctions of pills as suggested by my neurologist, but I haven't heard of this yet. You can bet I'll look into it though...

oxygen is the only thing that works for my mother. it's not exactly convenient or cheap but other medicines have done nothing. that video clip was exceedingly vague so i'm not putting much stock in that either. crazypants is right about the msg thing though, most people who get them seem to have severe msg allergies. I'm 95% sure my mother doesn't have allergies to it but she isn't exactly careful as to what she eats so it isn't impossible that she is still eating it unknowingly either. hope you find something for it though, i have seen how bad they can get.
