It's already been reported that all of the attackers were European nationals, and not Syrian (or other) imports. Muslims are woven into the societal fabric of Europe in a larger scale than in the US.
It would be much harder for a group of like-minded radicals to get together and plot something in this country vs Europe. Not saying it couldn't happen, but it would be far less likely to happen here.
