If I were a citizen of France and a resident of Paris I would be very angry at the arrogance of my government in not securing that rock concert with a reasonable armed police presence. France was bombing ISIS and under current threat of terrorist attacks.
Donald Trump is a tactless American maybe but he makes a point -- where was the armed security at that concert (a soft target) -- 86 people were slaughtered.
Also, when I was in Paris last month I saw no security or armed police on the Metro.
French government foreign policy is not pacifistic. I really can't understand why the French would think they are so safe at home.
