In my opinion, this is attributable to the free availability of online porn. The fact is men only bought it to look at the photos of pretty girls not wearing much, and when pretty girls wearing nothing in photos and videos became freely available online, the point of buying the magazine disappeared. Their business model was well and truly disrupted.
