Now I feel like hammered shit before I get that first meal, as opposed to when I was fasting I felt great on an empty stomach all the way up to around 1 or 2 pm. It only took a few weeks for my body to re-establish its addiction to being fed around the clock, which is the state most people are in -- and probably much of the reason so many people store more fat than they burn.
Even though it goes against conventional wisdom that you need to eat to fuel heavy weight lifting, I'll probably go back to working out on an empty stomach, because it sucks feeling hungry as fuck when I wake up.

I hear you, when I was working out, I would always do it on a empty stomach, with my protein shake mixed with creatine plus back then I would use my 200 mgs of caffeine my 20 mgs of ephedrine and one aspirin. it was called the EAC stack which was awesome. Then after I get home would either cook up some oatmeal with fruit or make a fruit smoothie then start the eat 5 to 6 small meals!
