Even staunch Catholic mind-scrubs will tell you that the history of the church is a non-stop bloodbath of massacres, stake burnings, and beheadings. The Popes white robes are awash in the blood of millions of innocents. (Not to mention the countless indigenous tribal people that have been "Converted" (Genocided) nearly or completely by Catholic Missionaries in South America and Africa).

When you suggest stopping tolerating religion because it is intolerant, is where I think you mostly went wrong. Well, actually I fully disagree with a rational society. Love is highly irrational, in a world where rational athiests rule, certainly love would be eradicated after religion/personal belief structures. Some people are born religious. Like sexuality. Lbgt.

And as the above poster noted, and I've claimed here many times, religion/faith has done a tremendous amount of good, most of it unmeasurable because it happens at the individual level.
