Who cares about that "special status"? Crimea is officially a part of Russia which lives by Russian laws. The Crimeans have Russian passports and identify themselves as Russian citizens - they are receiving Russian pensions, have free Russian medical insurance, they are protected by the Russian army etc. Do you really think anybody cares about some UN resolution? It does note deserve even a joke.
P.S. It will never be given back to the Ukraine, so take this simple fact AS IS.
