sensory feedback from your dominate hand is a little faster. the delay in sensory feedback adds to a feeling of randomness in terms of sensation, which is the same mechanism for tickling someone (think how random the motions must be to actually tickle someone)... you cannot tickle yourself because you can't perceive the sensations as random. the trade off i would imagine is that most people do not have enough motor control over their non dominate hand to justify doing this. you likely just had a slightly higher degree of motor coordination or perceived it as feeling better and had a tendency to focus on using that hand, which in term improved your control over it. incidentally, schizophrenics can tickle themselves as there are delays in the sensory feedback from the skins surface, in terms of processing.... which is why i kept asking cam_girls if he could tickle himself and likely, why he'd ignore the question every time.
