What a total mess and look at you all thinking you know exactly what's happening, I guarantee you in Washington and Moscow they don't know exactly what's happening - everybody overestimates the capabilities of politicians and bureaucrats. This is a scary situation, like pre WWI and WWII when everybody could see the dangers but nobody took any steps to do anything and before you knew it the world was engulfed in all out war.

The US should bail out completely, the peoples' revolt in Syria was doomed to fail, the common folk of Syria wanted it to end, it's why they're risking their lives and their childrens to get out. Let Russia get its ass handed to it, they won't win there any more than they won in Afghanistan or we won anything in Iraq.

I hope CyberSEO is wrong about Putin, one thing I guarantee you is that the US would and will never pre-emptively launch a nuke on any country without fair warning. Japan was warned, they refused to surrender under anything but their own terms. They allowed their own people to be burned alive and die of radiation.
