Well, I owned a 69 Trident when I was in my late teens. I bought it because it was a radical chopper that I could afford. That being said it has been a very long time since I rode one.
I guess my main complaint with any British motor vehicle is Lucas Electrics, but the Lord of Darkness may not even be a factor anymore.
Back in those days, the Norton 750 Commando would have been one of my favorite bikes. If I was to buy that style bike these days I would probably lean towards a Buell or Ducati.
