1) He probably wouldn't tell you the truth even if you could talk with him.
2) The U.S doesn't fix all the worlds problems.
3) There are many other countries that do a lot more than america to benefit mankind in ways that may not directly benefit americans, hence it rarely reaches US media.
4) When the U.S makes a grand gesture, such as Iraq, it isnt to help the world, it's to help itself and it's backers.
5) America is the most dangerous rogue state in the world. (rogue state being defined as a country that constantly breaks international law.)
