To get shot dead arguing to enforce the rules (read:the law) is ludicrous. Unless, you stand a fighting chance -- like an armed policeman.

Biloxi is a really piss poor place and Waffle House is not a fine restaurant -- maybe a good place to eat and sober up before the drive home -- I don't know the exact circumstances.
