Tons of info,opinions and simple logic says that it was ambush. Turkish planes were flying there for a while, they knew where Russians will go since Russians gave that data to NATO to precisely avoid this kind of shit.
Only if you go full retard you can think that one airplane is a threat to Turkey. He was flying alone, obviously without any protection of fighters because they had a deal with NATO.
Russians showed that was shot in Syria, and Greeks showed Erdogan's statement that planes should not be shot if they violate airspace (regarding thousands violations of Turkish planes to other countries, including 2,244 times in 2014 alone.).
So it is simple, Turks made this shit. I know what Turks are doing here in Balkans for years, some info what you won't find easily. They are funding extremist and wahhabis without any problem just like they were helping terrorists in Syria.
