Yes, that's made of an old Soviet army clip. Those guys are dancing in tarpaulin boots which were used in the old Soviet army. Those are absolutely inconvenient not just for dancing, they are inconvenient for anything. I was "lucky" to wear them in army... Your heels hurts and bleed after a 3 kilometers run. Real awful shoes.
