Officials: Suspect vowed support for ISIL leader on social media
The terrorist's phoney Facebook name -- there is some irony in this.
IP addresses of posts are logged -- are they (the terrorists) that stupid. Problem is: they (law enforcement -- the NSA) didn't know what to look for until it was too late.
Takeaway: The NSA and their data sniffing did not work pre-emptively in this case.
