Imagine if it were a bomb and the faculty didn't question the kid with the suspicious looking "clock". Heads would have rolled and they probably would have jailed the teachers, and demanded for the sheriff's resignation. We can't be hyper-alert for terrorist activities if we're threatened by Justice Department investigations when we report something suspicious. Can't have it both ways.
