I don't have any problems with business men becoming politicians. Just like an attorney becoming a politician, it is not inherently bad, but it can be. It really depends on the character of the individual. I think President Carter, peanut farmer, was a great president and is a great man although many would dispute his merit as POTUS. Republicans hated Clinton but he presided over one of the most successful periods for businesses in American history. Everything is relative.
