Trump has said a lot of things. He says vague things, and then denies what he says.
Here is an interview he recently did with Yahoo:
HILLYARD: Should there be a database system that tracks Muslims here in this country??
TRUMP: There should be a lot of systems, beyond databases. I mean we should have a lot of systems. And today you can do it. But right now we have to have a border. We have to have strength. We have to have a wall. And we cannot let what?s happening to this country happen anymore.
HILLYARD: But that?s something your White House would like to implement?
TRUMP: I would certainly implement that. Absolutely.
So Trump just said he wants to create a database of Muslims.
Then he turns around and says he wants to close down Mosques:
GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump says the United States has ?absolutely no choice? but to close down mosques where ?some bad things are happening.?
?Nobody wants to say this and nobody wants to shut down religious institutions or anything, but you know, you understand it,? Trump said on Fox News?s ?Hannity? on Tuesday. ?A lot of people understand it. We?re going to have no choice.?
Trump said on Monday he would ?strongly consider? closing mosques if elected in response to the terrorist attacks in France last Friday that killed at least 129 people and injured hundreds more.
Pressed to explain his tougher stance on the issue, the GOP primary front-runner told Fox News?s Sean Hannity that the security situation was changing ?a lot faster than anybody understands.?
After we create the database and then close down the Mosques, what then? Nazi Germany made Jews wear the Star Of David on their sleeve; Perhaps Trump will ask Muslims and people from Middle Eastern countries to wear something on their sleeve to identify them? At what point in time do we start refusing to hire and employ Muslims or people from the Middle East? Should we put them all in internment camps like we did to the Japanese during WWII?
Keeping in mind that the man who did this was an American citizen born in the United Sates... .. My wife is Italian and Lebanese. She was born in the United States. Will she have to carry a special ID? Will our child have to carry a special ID?
