For instance this morning...I'm watching the CNN morning show. Andrew Cuomo is asking Don Lemmon about the interview he did with Trump. Both men are talking about how Trump clarified what he wanted to do and that he was not "anti-muslim" or racist in what he is thinking.
Meanwhile...as the two anchors are discussing that...underneath them in huge letters it read: "Trump Doubles Down On Anti-Muslim Rhetoric" !!!!
That's not "vetting" anybody. That's just plain out bullshit by the media.

As you are fully aware the news media has morphed over the years to what it is now. In the beginning of the TV era the news cost the networks money to produce. Over the years the networks kept trying to change the news production into a money making proposition...thus you now have today's news presentations...money makers. The bottom line for all of the networks now...is not to be objective reporters of the news...but to compete for the most viewers...by whatever means. The viewer has to weed through the "bullshit" which is todays vetting process. It is what it is.
