On a serious note though, and not meant to be alarming, but has she tested herself for Diabetes? She can pee on a
diastix (available from all chemists) and check this easily at home.
The reason I say this is that I have type 2 diabetes and although I never had any of the classic symptoms (Thirst, peeing a lot, tiredness etc) I did have a lot of floating stools. Apparently its caused by the excessive sugar in the blood and body being expelled into the poo. This can cause it to float...
Floating poo itself is not specifically an indicator of diabetes above all else, and 99 times out of 100 its just a dietary thing, but worth bearing in mind if it continues
