I'd take a tent and spend a couple of days there. I just can't understand how an urban person could live in a small van for more than 3 days. What's about WC? What's about a daily shower? How can one sleep at some... I don't know how to spell it in English. What's about a normal kitchen? Not even mention that winters here are -30C and you will simple die w/o a stone-brick house which has a central heating system and a hot water/electricity.
I have heat, I have running water and electric. I also have showers anytime I need them.

Not only does the USA have nice gorecy store we also have this lovely thing called 24hr gyms. You get a membership at one and can use them anywhere in the country at any hour of the day..

I plan to eventually do the same thing in Europe in the next few years but still have lots of exploring left to do here in the US and Canada first.
