Come on. Of all the reasons, valid or not, to have a hate on for Harper do you honestly believe this is one of them? Do you really think Harper had any personal involvement in this decision or do you suppose that maybe the experts employed at the Department of Fisheries and Oceans came to the decision on their own based on current laws and regulations? These same people likely still work at the DFO now that Trudeau is in power and may very well come up with a similar or higher number this year. And just like Harper, Trudeau will likely not have any input into it. Will you be back here then complaining about the "fucked up Trudeau government"? I doubt it.
