Most here are clueless about porn outside of their traffic stats.

What do you think we will see in the porn biz in 2016?

VR will probably become more well known.
Agreed and many in porn will be disappointed in the effect it has on porn.

Will we see more paysites started, or indeed close?
Close, shrink, slow down, go on life support, and close.

For those in the UK we may find Ofcom deals with porn as it shuts down ATVOD.
Makes no difference to porn. The EU is now trying to regulate what 16-year-old kids can watch. they will find that's a waste of time, in 2020 and drop the project.

Sexurity (as in preventing sites from being hacked) I suspect will be important.
Been a trend for years.

More shrinking, more finding Dating being taken over by the big boys. The problem will be the same as it has been for the last 15 years, the growth of free destroys the need to buy. The journey from 1-100 to 1-10,000, will continue to a journey to 1-100,000. (Example)
