Instead of writing a check to an insurance company, you could give half as much to the Government to cover everyone. And lower other insurance bills.

Show them how much teachers pay in the private section cost and how much private education costs parents.
Your theory works great for the 0.05%. Even the 1% are having problems keeping up. Why do you think roads are better run by the Government. And hospitals, schools, pensions, care for the sick and infirm is best in the hands of the private sector?
Whatever is the truth, the money big business spends to buy politicians their seats. You can bet you will get the Government they want you to have.
