They are showing that the global temp is the "hottest on record" this year.
BUT...that would only be from 1914 forward for records that are officially recognized.
The records go back to 1880 but were done by amateurs until there was a standardized means of collecting data in 1914.
Much hotter temps have happened here in the U.S. as I showed. 1934 was the hottest year on record in the United States.
Global temps cover the entire planet. So that's a different measurement.

If you notice...the GLOBAL temperature has risen .7 of 1 degree since 1880
THAT is the "science" behind "man made climate change" that is being used to make billions of dollars for people in the "green energy" and "Carbon Trading" industry's.
Just remember that. 7/10th of ONE degree in the last 135 years.
That is what President Obama says is the greatest danger facing us.
