Ukraine is an "independent" country since 1991. All the times before it was a part of Russia. E.g. we have Siberia, Urals, Korelia etc. Ukraine and Belorussia were parts of Russia as well. They speak Russian, they have Russian culture and their pulation is Russian as well. So your comment just shows a luck of knowledge about my country. Go ask Marina who she is and which country she is from. Today it's Ukraine (the independent country), but it was founded by the empress of Russia in 1794.
