Nuclear power doesn't affect people lives like the internet neither does space. We can get by just fine on other sources of power and space is nice but not even .01% of the population will ever go to space in our life times.

Meanwhile, the internet has drastically changed the world. It's with out a doubt the most important thing in the last 50 years. Nothing can compare.
