It's not the same. A wing is a wing is a wing...it's an actual park of a chicken. It can't be substituted with thigh meat and still called a wing.

I agree with you. Only wings are wings. I was just pointing to an alternative to wings that could be done in a style that mimics wings. Slightly dark meat, skin on, that would offer a substitute to what we consume when we order chicken wings. I know a few people that really don't like meat on the bone (it offers more flavour when the bone is on/in) The thigh boneless wings I've had, actually taste like a boneless wing, the breast ones, lack that crispy skin which I consider to be the hallmark of a well prepared wing. Im not big on breaded wings.
