Trump is not "winning".
He is currently leading the polls in the Republican party. And this is honestly impressive because there are a lot of candidates. But Trump is doing with this with an odd combination of being a "political outsider", outrageous sound bites ("Mexicans are rapists"), and some great claims ("I am going to beat China"). You cannot launch you campaign for President by alienating the one demographic you need the most (Hispanics), and you cannot make wild statements without backing them up or at least having a plan (How are we going to beat China, and how are we going to build a wall and will it work this time?).
When comparing Trump to Hillary in the final race, Trump comes up short and looses. Right now it's a five percent loss, which is huge.

Even if you compare Trump vs Bernie, he still looses.
Trump just launched his first political ad, and while talking about Mexico he is displaying people from continent. How can we expect Trump to take care of the immigration issue when he isn't sure what continent these people are from?
The closer we get to the election the more he is going to look like a bully with no knowledge of domestic or foreign events.
