Not sure why everyone is jumping all over xxxjay for complaining about being plagiarized. Writers have a sense of pride and ownership of their work, it's their passion come to life in words. When someone plagiarizes their work, it does something far beyond pissing them off. If it's ever happened to you, then you'll understand xxxjay's outrage.
With that said, I read both articles and there are similarities, but I would be a little gun shy to call plagiarism on this one. Lemmy hung out at AVN, and other adult-oriented events, which both xxxjay and MikeSouth also attended. Therefore, the circumstances of their meetings could possibly be very similar. The last line is a very popular line used when someone of note passes. When Carlin died, Heaven got a new funny man. When Hitler died, hell got a new boss. When Cosby dies, Hitler better watch his asshole.
If it were something a little more unique, then yeah, I'd agree, but this is an extremely popular comment. Especially to end eulogy pieces.
Both guys are in the adult industry. Both men met Lemmy in similar circumstances. It's not far fetched to think articles written by both men would share similarities.
