When the whole content marketing thing became so huge people just started publishing spun 200-400 word blog posts right and left that didn't have any engagement.
Either write something really high quality or hire someone who can.
Or do the "curated approach" where you borrow ideas from "top influencers" and then just copy small bits of their article and respond with your comments, but make sure to give them an attribution link.
That is the way the HuffingtonPost has operated for over a decade
