Marysville is the next town over, about ten minutes from me so it's big in the news here. Of course all of the Pitbull owners came out saying that Pitbulls are great dogs.

The problem is that not every dog owner "understands animals". I have owned a black lab for 12 or 13 years now, but I honestly don't know much about dogs. Most people who own dogs don't know the first thing about them. It's just like anything else - Everyone owns a car, but most of us don't know the first thing about them.
