If you want to get REALLY serious they offer Xeon processors.
I configured one with a XEON 12 core processor...but they have even more powerful ones than that.
I also configured it with a Quadro M5000 card.

I'm currently looking at i7 6 core, dual Quadro M4000 cards 64gb ram, samsung 512gb ssd for o/s, x99 board - not sure about cooling or if it is even needed right now.
I'm at about 5 to 6k AUD for the build so far, still investigating though.

I moved over to Adobe CC a while back, loved Vegas for years but it was terrible with some video formats (not sure what it is like now )
