I agree. Politicians pander all the time and will even flip-flop often on the same topics depending on what kind of group they are talking to. Mitt Romney was the worst for this I think. It's too bad that they just can't stick to 1 thing.

The idea that there might be aliens out there is a super-fascinating subject for just about everyone I'm sure. What kills me are the endless dumb shows about non-evidence and trinkets being somehow proof that "they" have been here before.
It's like this : Pretend someone finds an old plastic water bottle. The bottle has a symbol on it, half worn away, that he doesn't recognize. He things "maybe" this is alien, and follows only the tracks that build up that belief, ignoring everything else to the contrary. That is a UFOlogist, an Ancient Alienist, a "psychic" investigator, etc etc.
