I scratch way too many tickets, I hit $1000 around 2-3 months ago on a $2 ticket.

All NJ lotto books come in $300 sets so if they are $2 tickets, you get 150 tickets, or if they are $5 tickets you get 60 tickets.

From buying plenty of books in my past ive found they average $150-$200 per book.

Stay away, your best bet is playing the pick 5
There was a newspaper article of this guy who did research, and said if you play all even numbers everynight, you will hit 3 or 4 out of the 5 every 3 months...
Don't know how true this is, but way better odds than the fucking scratch offs.

another quick thing to notice. Most ticket sets such as the 777's or any other game usually have the same amount of money winners per run. So lets say that all games have a total of $1 million in prizes per game. The tickets with the highest amount of money you can win on one ticket is$500 gives you the best odds of winning. Some games have high winning amounts of $10,000 which lowers your odds all around.

Here's the math.
lets just say that the high prize amount on tickets is $10,000 vs $500.
with the game where you can win $10,000 there are only 100 winners, vs. the game with the highest amount is $500 (2000 winners) not all prizes are these amounts but if you are looking for better odds, go for the tickets with lower grand prize winnings. (this was just an example of how the math is done, I realize there are other prize amounts)

Good luck!
