She initially pleaded not guilty to the criminal charges and fought it in court - and lost. During the trial, it was revealed her fellow cops drove her all around Niagara Region for several hours trying to sober her up before administering the breathalyzer at the station. And she STILL blew twice the legal limit.
The cops that attended the scene sent eyewitnesses away without taking their statements or getting contact information from them. Witnesses came forward on their own when they saw the story in the newspaper.
During the accident, she even tried to move her vehicle with the motorcycle still under the SUV - trying to make the accident look less serious.
And still she gets to keep her job as a cop after a slap on the wrist.
Unfuckingbelievable.
