There's much more upper body work in the squats than it gets credit for....especially on the heavier lifts when the torso and core muscles handle much of the load. I think this is why a lot of chicks have trouble with the back squat at higher weights. She may have the leg muscles, but when her waist and shoulders are 24 inches, it's going to be difficult supporting 225. One of my gym friends has legs like a Clydesdale horse, but she has a super slim torso and put herself in bed with a back injury for 2 weeks trying to max out.
