OP - basically it is because of people like Brasshat above.

They claim everything is racist, froth at the mouth screaming everyone is racist, the media grabs hold of it and everyone huddles in their bunkers hoping they don't get the finger pointed at them.

So when a bunch of rapist thugs criminals want to move in under the guise of being refugees, everyone lets it happen so they are not branded a racist.
