Actually you misunderstood (or I misspoke) and we are actually in agreement. I meant that statement for ALL people, not just blacks. HOWEVER.....since this thread is about race, blacks and respect (among other things) what I notice is how some minorities always blame whitey for everything yet do not even consider their own behaviors or language.
Respect should be a two-way street, not the responsibility of white people alone. It's actually the #1 problem I have with the immigrant issue in Europe: WE (white people) are supposed to be respectful of other cultures yet the immigrants flooding into Europe have zero respect for the cultures they are invading. Doesn't seem right, does it?
So no, it's not race related but rather BEHAVIOR related. I, as a white person, am supposed to accept the N word being tossed around by black people 24/7 yet when I get offended....I am wrong? That's just one example.
