The problem with the comparison is lack of hindsight given we know what Hitler did and it seems unimaginable. Where I think the comparison hits home is the foundation he is laying.
"Things are other peoples fault". "Those people look and believe differently" "To make your country great again they need to be dealt with".
Simple angry solutions to complex multi-faceted problems.
And people by the millions who have little need for facts or who are not dissuaded by blatant hypocrisy are listening.
