Over 40% of the people of age to be in the workforce are unemployed. The workforce percentage of employed people is at historical lows (they don't tell you that with the new way they count "unemployment rates").
I would say the economy is crippling along. Still hasn't recovered from the crash of 2008.
It is historically the longest period of "recovery" in history. The Great Depression had a faster "recovery" (thanks WW2).

In my opinion he made several moves that hindered progress. Starting with ObamaCare.
And many things he DIDN'T do that could have helped move the economy in my opinion.
I don't think any historians or economists will look back on the Obama years as "booming" in any way, shape, or form.
