Being a sponsor in the Qwebec events, I feel a unnecessary need for an other event, especially planned ONE WEEK before.
The fishing day was an idea, many more ideas are being thrown out there to make sure this event stands out and accommodate as many people as necessary.
Not sure again what is to gain for having this event.
Might be to piss off Michael, but I think it's pissing off the people sponsoring Qwebec.

As a business owner, I want to attend every local event there is and press palms, because I don't have the time to travel to too many trade shows.
But as a paying sponsor of Qnights, I can see how the FuckingLocals event kind of screws things up now. I want people to come to the events that I sponsor to talk about potential new business of course.
I didn't realize that both events were so close together until JFK pointed it out. Today I've talked to a few people that say they only have the time to attend Qnights OR FuckingLocals, but not both. This hurts attendances to both events and reduces the value of sponsorship to people like me.
