Don't under estimate the power of the basic infantry men. My current troop deployment is:
11x Infantry
12x infantry
3x Heavy
5x zooka
5x zooka
On sniper heavy bases, the infantry men keep them busy because no matter how powerful the tower is, they can only get one kill at a time. As always, the zookas do the heavy lifting and clean up. Been raping some other players with this build. Wish I knew how to record my games.
The trick is knowing when to send in all troops at once, and when to deploy them in sequence.
Also...shock bombs can win a match better than artillery if you time them correctly. If a player has a lopsided defense where he puts guns on one side, and economy buildings on the other, just run your troops through his buildings with flares collecting energy for shock bombs. Once you make it to the headquarters you can freeze the defenses while the troops destroy the HQ.
