I really do not see how any government can have the hide to keep the huge taxi license. A quick search show $220k in Sydney.

Then uber comes along and we have our PM supporting uber yet not even understandign why taxi drivers would be so angry about this.

I'm not a taxi or uber user, however even blind freddy can see why these guys would be so pissed about this.

The cab drivers in London have an amazing knowledge of the streets due to the training they undergo. How can uber suddenly undercut thiswithout having to adhere to any licensing laws or any vetting of drivers?
