VR is a better quality of 3D. The quality improves. Just the effect for a human brain is still something what it is not used to. That's the point.
Lack of interest in 3D is a proof that it rather will never make sense from a biz POV.
It is simple not a quality issue. It is just unnatural for a human brain to accept that kind modified images.
