Why would someone in our industry being distributing content they do not own? Because they are an affiliate. The program owns the content, and gives the affiliate permission to use the photos to promote the program's sites.

If, as you say Rochard - he's promoting an affiliate's site using pics by permission - why would he comply with a DMCA takedown notice as he states above?
