With 9/11, this was a terrorist attack that NO ONE saw coming. Terrorist attacks will happen, there is nothing we can do about it, and frankly the person who controls the Oval office is not the one responsible for this. There is only so much our government can do. Since 9/11 our government has worked much harder at protecting us, including then President Bush. We now take homeland security so much seriously.

As for the Iraq war, well, everyone is focused on WMD. The truth is a defacto state of war existed between the US and Iraq since Clinton was in office. We patrol the new fly zone, they shoot at our planes, and take out their missile sites. We didn't need an excuse to go into Iraq; A state of war already existed. You can also argue and debate if Iraq is better off since then but... Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Iran no longer have to fear Iraq attacking them and invading them.

Bush will be most known for the economy that crumbled on his watch. However, I question how much blame we should put on President Bush. Americans are greedy and we all were foaming at the mouth watching the values of our houses going up; We were taking money out of our houses and fueling the economy by making large purchases (cars, boats, jet skis, etc) and taking vacations.

Say what you want about Bush, but Bush protected us when we needed it the most - after 9/11. We went after the people who did this to us, and they haven't been able to strike out at us since then.
The Afghan war was needed. Whether there was any point in trying to change the regime in a country where only despots thrive for long, is another matter.

Iraq was an illegal war, there were no WMD, the evidence was concocted by ass kissers and again why try to change regimes?

Obama is also guilty of trying to imagine the ME can be ruled by moderate leaders. It needs a century of people like ISIS tearing it apart, without the West interfering, so it can learn it is it's own problem.

The financial crash was obvious. The markets were betting that Americans and other countries taxpayers would bail them out. These markets need regulating on a worldwide basis. Those that don't are excluded from EU and US markets. And any crash is then their's to bail out. But as you point out, voters are too greedy to realise they're living in cloud cuckoo land. Maybe they will learn after the next crash.

Yes, meeting force with force is necessary. But Iraq was little threat as you said we imposed a no-fly zone and removed any missile battery that dared to launch.
