lets say you are a plumber, a pretty ordinary and relatively low-end profession... you would earn about $50k/year... x 15% = $7500 per year extra in taxes your WHOLE life every single year... I don't know how you can keep a straight face and tell anyone that is a good deal...

No, it's not a good deal. But I was talking only about Healthcare. OK add education to the mix, it still won't take the taxes up to what the UK pays.

Now you can blame that on Government spending. Better would be to see who they spend the money with. I suspect you'll find private enterprise has a thing to do with this.
In the problems are the benefits system and mass migration. This has caused massive problems and I'm for putting it right. Unemployed work in the community and no one gets any benefits until they've lived in the UK for 4 years.
I'm for voting out the assholes who run countries for the benefit of the few and ideology.
